I have a question about a pattern for your wintersweet scarf in Knit magazine. I’m part way through and have found two – I guess typos – : row 1 of hood should say to pearl, I guess since the last previious row was knit….
Neck row 1 says to knit 33 (k2tog) 20 times. It should be knit 3 .

So I’m wondering if there are any other errors I need to know before I continue to put hours into this before I find a mistake….. The left scarf alone for 30 inches I figure will take me 15 hours!!!

    Barbara,
Thank you for contacting me. The first row of the hood does say Purl. And the neck is correct. You want to sl1, k33, [k2tog] 20 times, k33, p1 – 88 sts remain.
You actually sl1, knit all 33 sts, then do the k2tog 20 times with no other sts in between, then k33 again, and then p1.

There is one thing correction to the pattern: Page 86-87 Hood Correction: Rep Rows 3 and 4 nineteen more times, then work Row 3 once more—108 sts total.

But if you already got to the neck, you would have passed this error on your own.

    Hope this helps!
